Longing
the day when my passing will come
My soul returned to the spiritual void
, Ascension
My calling I respond with full will
To end this wait,
The marching of a seemingly endless voyage
Across the mortal realm
Enclosed in a prison forged in flesh
I ponder ever weary that the end will ever come
Ageless I long to be among the stars and the moons of heaven
Angels descend save me from my sorrow
Bless my heart with grace and light
Motionless I lay I imagine the stillness of death
I drift into sadness as a sense of nostalgia engulfs my every
breath
As if I too belonged to heaven before I descended among Humanas
court
Oh woe is me
Lift me from my curse take me back to my castle in the skies
above the clouds
In my bed dreaming of a life I wish I never lived
