"Fallen Angels"
By Eleanor Scerri

The deep voice of the sea engulfs me
Bleeding angels call through the mist
and we wander, drowning, all lost
In an endless purgatory of formless darkness.

Endless loving blood flows from Heaven
to save us, to find us....
But we are all lost
and the love we feel lives only amongst the shades.

We touch each other where heaven cannot reach us,
Slowly you feel the pleasure build
as the pain grows you become weaker
and more and more mine.

Our passion is a sin
But our sorrow makes us purer;
We purge ourselves with hurt
And drive each other mad.

Your tears wash me clean.
We don't hate each other
though the pain builds and builds
I love you all the more
